At the beginning of this year, East China’s Anhui province has set “Every county has access to expressways” as one of its yearly priority tasks of its expressway construction layout. On December 16, as the project – 12th Section of Wuhu to Huangshan expressway, constructed by Anhui Highway and Port Engineering Co., Ltd. - one of ACEG’s subsidiaries, professional contractor of road / bridge and port engineering and construction，officially opened to traffic, the ambition -“Every county has access to expressways” in the province was realized, it is a big moment and plays a huge role in promoting the social and economic development in the region and the whole province.
The twelfth section of the expressway, contracted and completed by Anhui Highway and Port Engineering Co., Ltd. winds its way through the mountains in Huangshan Mountain Areas, with a total length of 4.8 kilometers, including an interchange，two tunnels and three bridges, and the contract cost was around RMB 410 Million Yuan. It adopts the technical standard for expressways of fully closed and full interchange, two-way and four-lane, in mountain ridges and hilly areas, which would be difficult to construct and imposed higher technical requirements.
Since the commencement of the construction of the expressway on March 5, 2020, the project management and construction team and technical personnel, have been on duties and strictly controlled the construction processes and ensured the quality and safety of the works. All staff work together and have overcome many unfavorable factors such as tight schedules, heavy tasks land acquisitions and always uphold “Super quality goals” and explore innovative researches, lean managements and successfully completed all the contractual works.
