Overseas warehouses are a new form of integration and innovation of shared logistics, with the booming of cross-border e-commerce, the shortage of overseas warehouses, inventory management, goods sorting, packaging and other services have become increasingly apparent.
In an attempt to meet the needs in this regard, ACEG Overseas Business Department held a seminar to deploy the construction of overseas warehouses on the morning of August 10. Ms. Xing Yingmei, Deputy General Manager of Anhui Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd and Secretary of General Party Branch and General Manager of ACEG Overseas Business Department, took the chair and Mr. Wang Shibiao, Deputy General Manager of ACEG Overseas Business Department, attended the seminar.
At the seminar, Mr. Gao Fei, Manager of ACEG International Trade Department, made a detailed report on the preliminary research of the overseas warehouse project and introduced the development direction and main tasks of establishing public overseas warehouses as well as the development status of cross-border e-commerce in Anhui Province and the current situations of overseas warehouse construction and gave an in-depth analysis on overseas warehouse service supply chain, overseas warehouse business process of cross-border e-commerce and other specific work requirements, and he also put forward the urgent problems to be solved in the establishment of public overseas warehouses. Other participants of the seminar supplemented the contents of the report based on their respective works followed by a discussion on the measures to be taken to promote the construction of overseas warehouses.
Ms. Xing Yingmei emphasized in her concluding remarks that true and all-round understanding of the actual needs of the domestic and foreign markets were crucial to be made clear in accordance with the guidance of the state policies; communications with the superior business departments should be further strengthen, taxation, customs and finance related policies should be grasped, and she urged the staffs working on the project to persevere with the goals, stick to a problem-oriented approach and broaden the train of thoughts so as to promote the construction of overseas warehouse projects and strive to achieve effective results as soon as possible.
